“Reflections of Peace” is based on the Lessons & Carols format of music interspersed with readings. This heartwarming and soulful program includes gospel and jazz arrangements of spirituals and hymns interwoven with scripture, prayer and poetry. The music reflects the spirit of the readings.
In a ministry that reaches beyond musical style or a certain religion, the trio has performed “Reflections of Peace” across the US and UK with performances at St. James Piccadilly in London, Oxford University, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the Crystal Cathedral.
From cathedrals in England to small country churches in the heartland of America, Brass Roots Trio has touched the hearts of listeners with their creative excellence and their ability to stir the emotions of their audiences.
Brass Roots Trio’s CD “Reflections of Peace” was described in the Living Church Magazine as “Garrison Keillor meeting Aaron Copland on Bourbon Street” and was featured in Catholic Digest’s list of ‘20 Great Christian CD's.
